Background & perspective

Experience across people and systems.

I am Dr. Lucas Hall, a licensed clinical social worker with more than fifteen years of experience across psychotherapy, healthcare, nonprofit leadership, teaching, and community life. I am also a gay man, a Kentuckian who has made a home in Pensacola, and someone who believes the ordinary details of a life deserve our attention.

Guest House Atelier is the home for my writing, speaking, and leadership work. The Guest House Psychotherapy is my clinical practice, offering adult therapy in downtown Pensacola and online in Florida, Alabama, and Kentucky. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in all three states, a Florida Qualified Supervisor, a Certified Case Manager, and a workplace mental health consultant.

Life & place

Kentucky roots. Pensacola home. Drawn to Fire Island.

Kentucky formed me. Pensacola became home. Fire Island keeps teaching me about freedom, community, and the places that help us become more fully ourselves.

From the Atelier

We become ourselves in relationship: to people, community, place, and memory.

Come as you are
