How I work
Therapy without performance.
You may be getting through the day while feeling worried, low, disconnected, or exhausted by your own thoughts. We can talk about what is happening and work toward changes that fit your life. As a gay man and a therapist with sixteen years in mental health, I bring particular depth to work with men around anxiety, depression, relationships, identity, and faith. My practice welcomes LGBTQ+ adults and other adults whose needs fit my approach.
Therapy is a relationship. We begin by getting to know one another and building mutual trust. My approach combines psychodynamic insight with practical tools: I listen closely, ask questions, and help you understand patterns while finding ways to manage what is difficult now. You do not need to have everything figured out before we begin.

- Private-pay fees: first session $200; ongoing sessions $175. Insurance is also accepted: Aetna, Cigna, Carelon, Optum/UnitedHealthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and TRICARE. Coverage varies by state and plan.
